Auditions for Stoned
Romeo & Juliet
Bowls with the Bard is excited to announce auditions for our stoned production of Romeo & Juliet, directed by Natalie Edwards. Actors must be comfortable around marijuana but not all actors are required to smoke. Actors must be 21+ by January 2026 to audition.
Auditions will be held at 1490 N. Lafayette St on Monday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 4 from 7-10pm, and callbacks will be held by appointment on Wednesday, November 5 from 7-10pm. Video auditions will be accepted under the condition that you are available for callbacks.

To audition, please prepare one 90 second Shakespearean monologue, preferably in verse.
We will rehearse evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from November 18 through February 12 in Denver, with holiday breaks November 25-27 and December 23-January 1. Performances will be held at Tetra Private Lounge & Garden February 13-14 and 20-21 from 6-9pm. An additional nonsmoking performance will be held at Three Leeches Theater in Lakewood on February 28 from 6-9pm.

- Track 2: Juliet, Balthasar - $650
- Track 3: Nurse, Sampson - $650
- Track 4: Mercutio, Lady Capulet - $650
- Track 5: Benvolio, Apothecary, Paris - $650
- Track 6: Tybalt, Friar Laurence, Prince - $650
- Track 7: Capulet, Abraham, Rosalind - $650
